A Crossover Between THE WALKING DEAD and FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Is Happening

THE WALKING DEAD and its spinoff are due to collide!

Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead comic whose work also spawned the spinoff series Fear The Walking Dead, has confirmed that there will indeed be a crossover between the two shows.

“I’ll say this: There are two Walking Dead shows. One character is going to go from one show that I will not name and appear on another show that I will not name,” Kirkman, who also serves at a producer on both shows, told audiences at New York Comic Con this past weekend.

EW shared the news and claims the crossover will happen sometime next year. Fans have plenty of theories on how the crossover could work, most of which involve a flashback or a time jump forward, thanks to the show’s currently uneven timelines.

From there, the audience is desperate to find character connections. Kim Dickens, who plays Madison Clark on Fear The Walking Dead has a southern accent leading us to believe that her character is related to someone on The Walking Dead. Over the summer at San Diego Comic-Con, Dickens joked that “I think Madison is, probably, might be related to Daryl Dixon.” Then again, these characters could just randomly bump into each other on the road.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 is currently airing on AMC. The Walking Dead Season 8 premieres October 22, 2017 on the network.
