THE 100 Recasts Important Role, Adds Jordan Bolger in New Role

Clarke’s “daughter” Madi has been recast for THE 100 season 5!

In the finale of the fourth season of The 100 we were introduced to Madi, Clarke’s (Eliza Taylor) somewhat adopted nightblood daughter. In the finale the character was played by Imogen Tear, but in the upcoming season Madi will be played by Lola Flanery, who you might recognize as the younger version of the Seelie Queen on Shadowhunters.

Clarke and Madi’s relationship is “hugely important for Clarke” executive producer Jason Rothenberg has said. “She’s been with her for five years. They are, for all intents and purposes, bonded the way a mother and daughter would be. So Clarke loves her, and her decision-making process has changed, just as it does for anyone who has a child. … We’ll tell the story of how they came together in Season 5, and how they’ve been surviving as the only two people on the planet.”

Flanery’s casting is not the only recent change-up to the show, British Peaky Blinders actor Jordan Bolger has also been added to cast as thrill-seeking Zeke Shaw. This love of the dangerous and unknown led Zeke to join a space mission to a new solar system, seemingly before the first apocalypse, but he will be making his way back to Earth in season 5 and it may not be quite as he remembers it.

The 100 returns with its revamped season 5 in early 2018.
