THE 100 Faces Another War in New Trailer

Check out the new trailer for The 100 season three!

The premiere of the third season of The 100 is just about a month away, and today a full length trailer was released following the 20 second promo released on Friday. This trailer gives hints at much of what is to come in season three, making it clear that is this will be the darkest season of the show yet. Check it out below:

The trailer discusses a new war brewing for the Sky People, which seems to have siblings Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) on opposite sides. This seems to be more than just a simple family feud, with Octavia saying her brother is on the wrong side, and then telling him, “You’re dead to me.”

The trailer also features Clarke (Eliza Taylor) who is now living separate from the rest of the Sky People. Though she must not stay away long, as the trailer shows Clarke reuniting with both Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) and Bellamy. Though her reunion with Lexa does fall on the more hostile side of things. We also get to learn more about the mysterious ‘City of Light’, which Jaha (Isaiah Washington) still claims to be real. Abby (Paige Turco) speaks about the ‘City of Light’ in the trailer, saying that it is “eliminating more than just pain.”

The 100 follows a group of teenagers who have been sent to earth after spending their whole lives in space. As they face the challenges of what this unknown planet has to offer, they realize that they may not be alone.

I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait for this new season to start. And if this trailer is anything to judge by, the third season of the CW’s hit post-apocalyptic show will include more high stakes and danger for the Sky People than the first two seasons combined. And I, for one, am ready for this roller coaster to begin.

The 100 premiers on Thursday January 21st on 9:00pm ET on the CW.
