Celebrated actor Max Von Sydow will be the intense, msyterious Three-Eyed Raven on GAME OF THRONES!
When Bran Stark returns to Game of Thrones, he’ll be bringing a powerhouse characters into the fold. The youngest Stark son, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, was last seen in Season 4, seeking out a mentor. In Season 6, he’s found his mentor in Max Von Sydow.
The 86-year-old actor will play Three-Eyed Raven, who teaches Bran how to master the powers of warging (aka controlling the minds and inhabit the bodies of animals). With a season in between. Bran will have been following Three-Eyed Raven’s teachings for quite some time when we meet up with them.
Max Von Sydow has been acting since 1949 and will appear in what will likely be the biggest film of 2015, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. He’s also known for roles in The Tudors, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, and Snow Falling On Cedars.
