FOX’s X-MEN Pilot Enlists Four More Members Of Lead Family

Meet the rest of the X-MEN pilot’s Stewart family, which contains some TV favorites!

The cast of the new X-Men TV pilot on FOX is quickly growing with new announcements that round out the starring Stewart family.

Sci-fi favorite Amy Acker (Angel, Person of Interest) joins the pilot as the Stewart family matriarch, Kate. In the series, Kate and her estranged husband Reed (Stephen Moyer) discover their children possess mutant powers and find themselves joining an underground mutant operation just to survive.

Natalie Alyn Lind, who has previous held roles on The Goldbergs and Gotham, joins the cast as Lauren Stewart, the eldest daughter in the family. Lauren is pretty much the perfect teenager– smart, pretty, and popular with big opportunities ahead– but this discovery is sure to turn her world upside down.

According to Empire, the show has also found Lauren’s two siblings. Emma Dumont, who had roles in Bunheads and Aquarius, will play Lorna aka Polaris, who uses her powers to manipulate electromagnetic elements and create force fields. The show has also announced Percy Hynes White as little brother Andy, but very little is known about the character at this time.

The show has gotten a lot of hype considering its still in the pilot stage, so we have high hopes for at least one season. The pilot, which will be directed by movie regular Bryan Singer, is currently in production.
