You’ll now be able to listen to the first five HARRY POTTER film soundtracks on vinyl!
Do you miss “Hedwig’s Theme” sometimes? Don’t worry, we all do. But now you’ll be able to listen to it all the time, with the release of the first five Harry Potter film soundtracks on vinyl. Presented by Rhino Records, the package will be titled “Harry Potter Original Motion Picture Soundtracks I-V.” It will contain 10 LPs and feature music from the legendary composers behind the Harry Potter scores: John Williams (Sorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban), Patrick Doyle (Goblet of Fire), and Nicholas Hooper (Order of the Phoenix).
Each vinyl disk will have a pressed image on it from the scene in the film where the piece appears, except for Order of the Phoenix, which instead has an etching on the last side of the LP. The collection will come in a box with gatefold sleeves that contain each LP.
Vinyl is a great way to listen to music, and the Harry Potter soundtracks would be an excellent addition to any vinyl collection.
“Harry Potter Original Motion Picture Soundtracks I-V” goes on sale on November 17th, 2017.
