SYNOPSIS
In a dystopian North America, children are forced into an annual savage battle to the death, meant to keep the citizens of its 12 districts living in fear. When Katniss Everdeen’s sister is chosen to compete, she volunteers to take her place. She knows she must survive, but she doesn’t know how and can’t imagine that her actions will spark a rebellion.
