Watch the new WONDER Trailer, “Brand New Eyes”

The WONDER movie has a new trailer that shows us the painful side of being different, but also the love of friends and family.

The adaptation to R.J. Palacio‘s middle-grade novel, Wonder, has a new trailer out that gives us a glimpse into the life of August, or “Auggie,” Pullman, a young boy born with a rare facial deformity. Upon his entrance into fifth grade, Auggie’s parents decide to discontinue is home schooling and enter him into a private prep school.

Young talented star Jacob Tremblay, who co-starred with Brie Larson in the award-winning movie The Room, takes on the role of Auggie, while Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson play his parents.

The new trailer gives us new footage that shows Auggie making new friends as well as having to deal with the bullying he receives from some of his other schoolmates.

Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

Wonder also stars Mandy Patinkin, Daveed Diggs, Sonia Braga, and Izabela Vidovic.

Wonder arrives in theaters November 17th, but you can get a copy of the book right here.
