The New THOR: RAGNAROK 80s Trailer Has the Right Amount of Cheese

THOR: RAGNAROK is giving us 80s nostalgia and ragnaroking and rolling in this fun-filled, cheesy trailer.

It’s safe to say that director Taika Waititi seems to have an affinity for the 80s as this newest Thor: Ragnarok trailer seems to allude to.

But not to worry! The movie isn’t actually going to appear like a used up old VHS movie from the 80s, as we’ve already seen previous trailers that show the Marvel movie in its prime, that is today’s standards of high quality.

Still, it’s a funny and awesome nod to the 80s if we say so ourselves, especially when Lou Ferrigno’s portrayal of The Incredible Hulk pops up in there.

Many a times I’ve seen movies in that VHS 4:3 format, but I certainly wouldn’t want to relive that on a full scale movie. And especially not with the wrinkly tape parts that scroll up and down the screen while playing.

Thor: Ragnarok crashes into theaters  November 3, 2017.
