SUICIDE SQUAD Comic-Con Appearance and Leaked Trailer

The SUICIDE SQUAD Comic-Con cast appearance boosted by leaked trailer!

The latest look at another highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation is here! The SUICIDE SQUAD Comic-Con presentation was, publicly, only a short speech from director David Ayer and quick appearances by the cast including Viola Davis, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevingne, but another treat made its way in as well!

First, check out the cast, who stopped in from Toronto to give some love to the fans very quickly.

Next, check out the leaked trailer for the film, which found its way online shortly after the panel.

In case you can’t see it, here’s some highlights:

The trailer opens up on Amanda Waller discussing the collection of “bad guys” in containment. Waller says she she plans to coerce them all to work to protect society, because training people to work against their nature is was she does for a living.

The scene is followed by serial shots of the crew, including Deadshot, Harley Quinn (hanging from her cell bars), Enchantress, and El Diablo. A voiceover has Rick Flagg telling the group that they work for him, to which Deadshot replies that they’re “some sort of Suicide Squad”. After that, the action really begins with bullets, cars, and debris flying over all the place.

It all comes to a shocking conclusion with the reveal of The Joker, who has not been seen up to this point. He shines an overhead light at the audience (or we should say, an unseen character whose eyes the camera is panning through) and says “I’m not here to kill ya. I’m just gonna hurt ya really, really bad.”
