‘The 100’ and ‘Pitch’ actor Michael Beach joins the cast of Warner Bros. AQUAMAN movie, starring Jason Momoa.
Veteran actor Michael Beach has signed on to be part of the DC superhero film, Aquaman. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. states that Beach will be playing a character named Jesse Kane, who is part of a group of pirates that have a interaction with Aquaman.
However, it’s also been speculated that Beach’s true character will actually be that of the father of Black Manta, who is played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, due to this tweet with photos below:

Although Warner Bros. has remained quiet about the speculation, Beach has teased about it via his Twitter account:

Either way, it’ll be fun to see him in the movie, which also stars Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Ludi Lin, and Dolph Lundgren.
Michael Beach has appeared on a number of TV shows, including the CW’s The 100, Fox’s Pitch, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, Syfy’s Stargate: Atlantis, and NBC’s Third Watch. Additionally, he is slightly familiar with the DC Universe as he voiced several characters in the animated WB series Justice League Unlimited.
