A gay teen is done keeping his story straight in the first LOVE, SIMON poster!

October 11th is National Coming Out Day and Love, Simon is celebrating with the first look at the upcoming gay teen love story!

Based on the novel Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, the movie follows Simon Spier (Nick Robinson), a not-so-openly gay teen whose correspondence with a secret admirer ends up in the hands of the class clown, Martin (Logan Miller), who blackmails Simon: He’ll keep Simon’s secret if Simon helps Martin get together with his best friend, Abby (Alexandra Shipp). With his privacy and a carefully blooming relationship on the line, Simon must find out how to come out on his own terms before it’s too late.

The first poster for the film looks like a great homage to the book cover with a quirky tagline, but the original unveiling on Twitter featured another powerful message: “Everyone deserves a great love story.”

Love, Simon hits theaters on March 16, 2018.
