Watch Lin-Manuel Miranda and MOANA’S Auli’i Cravalho Perform “How Far I’ll Go”

Listen and see just how awesome Auli’i Cravalho holds herself during her performance of “How Far I’ll Go” from MOANA.

Although Moana and Lin-Manuel Miranda didn’t win an Oscar for Best Original Song for “How Far I’ll Go,” we have to say that this was the best performance of the night in its elegance and grace. Auli’i Cravalho, who voiced the main character in the movie and performed the song at the awards ceremony, is only 16-years-old, and she was beautiful.

Despite having been grazed in the head by one of the flags during the song, she wasn’t phased at all and kept her grandeur. This is the type of performance that’s worthy of mention, amongst other things that happened that at the event.
