Katherine Langford Joins SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA

Up-and-comer Katherine Langford joins Nick Robinson and Logan Miller in SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA.

We only just announced last month about Australian actress Katherine Langford being cast in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, and now she’s already landed another major role in a feature film. Earlier today Deadline announced that she will take on the female lead role in another YA adaptation, Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.

Langford will play Leah, best friend to Simon, a 16-year-old not-so-openly-gay student. When an email written by Simon falls into the wrong hands, he is forced to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he’s pushed out — in a way that won’t alienate his friends, compromise himself, or ruin a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he hasn’t even met yet.

Nick Robinson (Jurassic World, The 5th Wave, Everything, Everything) was announced to play the lead role of Simon back in December, and Logan Miller (Before I Fall) was announced a few days ago to play Martin, the classmate who comes across Simon’s email.
