Hannibal Buress joins SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Spider-Man: Homecoming starts first day of filming, while comedian Hannibal Buress joins the cast.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed earlier today that Hannibal Buress (Broad City, 30 Rock) has joined the cast of the Sony/Marvel collaboration Spider-Man: Homecoming.  His role in the film, starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, has not been disclosed as of yet.

The feature film has has started its first day of filming.

Hannibal joins other cast members Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi, Logan Marshall-Green, and Robert Downey, Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and opens in theaters July 7, 2017.
