The fight for survival continues in MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE!
At long last, we’re finally seeing the first stills from Maze Runner: The Death Cure!
The third and final film in The Maze Runner series, based on the books by James Dashner, follows the Gladers as they enter the world’s “Last City,” controlled by WCKD, in a desperate attempt to save themselves and the world from The Flare virus that’s decimating life as we know it.
The film originally began production in March 2016, but came to a screeching halt just three days later when star Dylan O’Brien was injured in an on-set accident. After Dylan’s recovery and a decision to delay the final film’s release date, production picked up again in March 2017.
Buzzfeed shared the first photos from the film, which feature looks at Thomas (O’Brien), Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), Jorge (Giancarlo Esposito), Brenda (Rosa Salazar), Frypan (Dexter Darden), Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), and WCKD leader Ava Paige (Patricia Clarkson) in action.
We’ll see how Thomas and the other Gladers fare when Maze Runner: The Death Cure hits theaters on January 26, 2018.
