Dory Just Keeps Swimming In “Finding Dory”

Ellen DeGeneres (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”) is back voicing our favorite blue fish Dory in Disney Pixars “Finding Dory”! During D23, Ellen was joined alongside cast mates Ed O’Neill (“Modern Family”), who lends his voice to Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Ty Burrell (“Modern Family”), the voice of Bailey, a misguided beluga whale; and Kaitlin Olson (“Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), who voices Destiny, a kind-hearted whale shark to celebrate the upcoming Disney Pixar film.

The director (Andrew Stanton who did “Finding Nemo” and “WALL-E”) and co-director (Angus MAcLane) and producer Lindsay Collins (co-producer of “WALL-E”) gave the attendees all the details on Dory’s next underwater adventure.

Dory with friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale?

I don’t know about you all but I am beyond excited to see this movie. “Finding Nemo” is one of the very few Pixar films that I love that I can watch numerous times and not get tired of it. Not to mention it’s a pretty quotable film and I love movies with great quotes in them. I am excited to see more about Dory and her backstory as her character in the original film was the one I latched onto the most.

This will be one of the best family films of 2016, and I cant wait to see it opening weekend!

Disney·Pixar’s “Finding Dory” swims into theaters June 17, 2016.
