D23 Expo reveals Taraji P. Henson Joins Cast of WRECK-IT RALPH 2

Empire’s Taraji P. Henson has joined the WRECK-IT RALPH 2 cast to play a character with a very agreeable name.

During the D23 Expo 2017, Disney’s own version of a convention, it was announced during the Pixar animation panel that Empire and Hidden Figures star Taraji P. Henson will be joining the cast of Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.

Henson will be playing a character named Yesss, who is apparently quite a savvy individual when it comes to the internet.

Those who were lucky to be there got to see exclusive footage from the movie, which had Yesss showing original characters Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) around the Internet. At one point they are even introduced to all the Disney princessess. And if you didn’t hear the news, all the princessess will be voiced by the original actresses (at least all the modern day princesses will be,) who were all brought on stage after the footage was shown.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is scheduled for a March 9, 2018 release.
