Thanos is not the only villain in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and new trailer details revealed!

Unlike what everyone has been led to believe, Thanos (Josh Brolin) isn’t the only villain who our heroes will be facing off against in Avengers: Infinity War. According to the announcement from the D23 expo on Saturday, Thanos will be joined by the Black Order! The Black Order includes Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Black Dwarf.

Although the Black Order has only been part of the comic book universe since 2013’s New Avengers Vol. 3 No. 8, they serve an importany role by helping to collect the Infinity Stones for Thanos. If anyone stands in their way, they will suffer the consequences.

No casting announcements have been made regarding these four new characters. However, there is still time as Vin Diesal was only announced as the voice actor for Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy 6 months before the film premiered.

The introduction of the Black Order ups the stakes for Avengers: Infinity War as rather than only facing off against one villain our heroes now need to defeat five. We are very excited by this news and cannot wait to see these villains in action.

Also exclusively at the D23 Expo, attendees of the panel got to watch the new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. Here are some of the observations from the Hollywood Reporter.

— Spider-Man has a new suit that looks quite advanced, a la the one at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming or the costume from the Spider-Man 2099 comics.

— Captain America has a beard and looks like he’s been through a lot. It’s clear he’s been off doing something away from Iron Man’s Avengers and that this is their first time seeing him again.

— Thanos wears the Infinity Gauntlet and pulls down part of a moon to battle the Avengers on an alien planet.

— Doctor Strange battles alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man on this planet.

All this new information coming from the expo is making us even more excited for the film and we cannot wait to see it when it comes to cinemas!

Avengers: Infinity War will premiere May 4, 2018
