Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson Fall In Love In The EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING Trailer

Discover Maddy’s story in the heartwarming first trailer for EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING!

The first trailer for the movie adaptation of Nicola Yoon‘s bestselling YA novel Everything, Everything is here!

Starring Amandla Stenberg (The Hunger Games) and Nick Robinson (Jurassic World), Everything, Everything follows the tale of Maddy, a teen with a rare but infamous disease called Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) aka “bubble baby syndrome”. Besides a handful of online tutors, her nurse Carla, and her hyper-attentive physician mother who controls nearly every aspect of her sheltered life, she’s had little human contact. That all changes when Olly moves next door and through windows and computers, the two form a bond. Suddenly, Maddy begins to wonder about making a life of her own outside of her mother’s gaze.

The trailer perhaps tells a little too much story, but the movie looks gorgeous and really emotional. Is it spring yet?!

The official movie synopsis is also out:

What if you couldn’t touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face…or kiss the boy next door? “Everything, Everything” tells the unlikely love story of Maddy, a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house, and Olly, the boy next door who won’t let that stop them.

Maddy is desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, and the promise of her first romance. Gazing through windows and talking only through texts, she and Olly form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together…even if it means losing everything.

Everything, Everything
hits theaters on May 19, 2017.
