FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD will be released this year, and while we wait, we have some promotional photos to check out!
The first photo from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald shows our two main protagonists, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston). What are the two of them up to? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Next, we have one of our first looks at a young Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law. And is that his office at Hogwarts he’s sitting in?
Last, but certainly not least, we have a sinister-looking Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), along with his trusted follower, Vinda Rosier – a new character played by Poppy Corby-Tuech, reported to be a loyal servant to Grindelwald’s cause.
The sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set a year after the events of the original film (1927). Grindelwald has escaped custody and is amassing followers, most of whom are unaware of his intentions: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. Dumbledore sets out to stop his old friend and brings Newt into the fight.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released November 16, 2018.
