Dane DeHaan is definitely making a name for himself in Hollywood, and there’s reason he shouldn’t. He’s a talented actor with a list of credits that doesn’t define itself into one genre. There were many times in the movie I was very intrigued and interested in what I was watching, and following what was going on to the main protagonist, Lockhart. But by the end, I felt something the movie had suddenly become a different movie, in a sense there the macabre feel of it turned into more of a…

A breakdown in negotiations has caused Matt Reeves to step away from THE BATMAN. The DC Entertainment Universe continues its bad luck streak with directors, this time involving The Batman solo flick. Indie director Ry Russo-Young talks about friendships, respecting the teenage experience, and BEFORE I FALL.  It should be safe to say that young adult adapted films will always be around, especially if we have directors like Ry Russo-Young taking up the call to create another excellent adaptation of another YA book. Before I Fall was optioned back in 2010, the same year the book was released. However, it didn’t go into production until 2015.
