Jace Wayland vs. Caleb Prior (Divergent trilogy)

Results – 71.24%

Jace felt so sorry for his opponent, he even helped him carry some books back to their proper shelves before taking care of business.

Jace Wayland vs. Mazer Rackham (Ender’s Game series)

Results – 80.02%

Jace didn’t think this battle was serious as they pitted him against an “old man,” no matter how significant the man’s history was. Pity.

Jace Wayland vs. Haymitch Abernathy (The Hunger Games trilogy)

Results – 50.64%

Jace felt quite a bit of sympathy of Haymitch’s love loss, but he couldn’t let that show.  Instead he drank with him a bit before he brought down the boom.

 Even Jace can’t underestimate the son of Hephaestus, what with the boy’s ability to bring about fire as well as that smart-alecky attitude that he himself would be proud of if he wasn’t battling the demigod.

Leo Valdez vs. Teresa (The Maze Runner trilogy)

Results – 54.69%

Leo’s not about hitting defenseless girls, but Teresa isn’t completely defenseless.  Besides, the tattoo on her arm didn’t give her much sympathy from him, either.

Round 2

Leo Valdez vs. Peter Wiggin (Ender’s Game trilogy)

Results – 53.43%

Leo just couldn’t get over the feeling that Peter was a bully, and Leo doesn’t like bullies all that much, even if he was the Hegemon.  In fact,  that gave Leo even more incentive to best the eldest Wiggin sibling.

Leo Valdez vs. Magnus Bane (The Mortal Instruments series)

Results – 50.93%

Oh boy! Leo had never seen so much sparkle and glitter flying all over the place in his life than in this battle against the warlock.  Sure, he had faced immortals before,  but he never met one so uniquely dressed.  He almost lost from being so distracted.

After such a grueling clash with a warlock, Leo wonders how much more he’ll have to do to get past the blond and apparently super sharp-tongued Jace.
