Rick Riordan’s TRIALS OF APOLLO: See the First of Three Book Trailers

Apollo faces his first “trial” in witty book trailer for THE HIDDEN ORACLE!

Good news, demigods! There’s a new book trailer for Rick Riordan’s Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle and it’s the first of three video teasers for the series!

Trials of Apollo will follow the god after he’s punished by his mighty father, Zeus, and forced to live as a powerless mortal. It looks like Apollo is getting a serious lesson in humility as the once cocky god with his many abilities is forced to start anew among the demigods in Camp Half-Blood. But even in such a safe haven, can Apollo avoid his enemies now that he’s powerless?

We certainly weren’t expecting the twist in this trailer and we definitely giggled!

Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle hits shelves on May 3, 2016. Two more trailers for the series are set to be released before the book’s debut.

Official Synopsis:

How do you punish an immortal?

By making him human.

After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disorientated, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus’s favour.

But Apollo has many enemies – gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go . . . an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.
