See The Cover For John Green’s TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN (Featuring No Turtles)

TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN offers up a colorful but simplistic cover design!

John Green‘s first book in nearly six years officially has a cover!

Good Morning America debuted the cover design for Turtles All The Way Down, which follows a young woman named Aza Holmes who works to solve a mystery while also navigating her way through anxiety-driven invasive thought spirals.

Turtle lovers may be a little disappointed, as the cover doesn’t actually feature a visual representation of the philosophical train of thought it’s named after (which is to say, there are no turtles holding up the Earth here). Instead, we see a spiral referencing Aza’s mental health battle.

Here it is in image format, though sadly, we’re still waiting on a higher quality version.

Turtles All The Way Down hits bookshelves on October 10, 2017. If you’re interested an nabbing a signed copy of the book, find out how you can (probably) get one at
