  1. Asked my eldest twins as I am entering this for them and they stated:
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson (I searched a bit for the authors’ names).

  2. What are your favorite contemporary teen mysteries?

I wouldn’t say these two were my all time favourites out of all the contemporary ya/teen mysteries I’ve read, but I recently read and enjoyed
First We Were IV by Alexandra Sirowy
    and
    Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart.
